The terms and conditions described herein comply with current legislation and are subject to the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, which consolidates the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users. These general conditions apply to all activities organized by sendalpina – Mountain Guides, and together with the specific conditions described in the detailed program of each event, are delivered to the client and serve as the final contract. All aspects not covered by these general conditions will be governed by current legislation.
Both sendalpina – Mountain Guides, located at Urb. Mirador de Capileira, 5A, 18413 Capileira (Granada), and any local operators represented by it, shall be considered as “Organizers.” Activities organized by sendalpina shall be deemed to begin on the date and at the location where the services provided by the Organizer commence.
The registration process for an activity consists of two phases:
Reservation: The interested party selects the date and number of participants through the activity form.
Confirmation: To confirm the reservation, 100% of the activity’s cost must be paid at least one week before the activity starts. The final price of the activity, which depends on the final number of participants, will be communicated to the interested party via email or phone.
If you made a reservation but cannot attend, you will not be charged.
If you confirmed your participation by paying 100% of the activity cost, you will be refunded:
100% if you cancel 7 days before the activity.
50% if you cancel 4 to 6 days before the activity.
25% if you cancel 3 days before the activity.
0% if you cancel less than 48 hours before the activity.
The registration process for a trekking activity consists of two phases:
Reservation: The interested party selects the date and number of participants through the activity form.
Confirmation: To confirm the reservation, 50% of the activity cost must be paid once the minimum number of participants required to carry out the activity has been reached. The remaining 50% must be paid at least 15 days before the trekking start date.
Since trekking activities require significant planning and effort from the organization, sendalpina reserves the right not to refund part of the amount paid by a client who cancels without sufficient notice and to penalize the client for the financial loss this may cause the organization and other clients.
If the person who made the reservation does not complete the corresponding payment, it will be considered a withdrawal from the requested activity, and the relevant cancellation conditions will apply. Canceling a reservation before confirmation does not entail any cost to the user—that is, if the client reserves but does not confirm (by not paying 50%), no payment is required.
The client is entitled to a full or partial refund if unable to attend a trekking activity:
100% refund if canceled more than 31 days before the trekking starts.
50% if canceled between 15 and 31 days in advance.
25% if canceled between 7 and 14 days in advance.
0% if canceled 7 days or fewer before the activity.
These refunds are subject to compensation penalties for possible damages caused to sendalpina and other clients. These penalties are detailed below:
If the user cancels a previously confirmed reservation, they must pay a penalty as compensation to sendalpina – Mountain Guides. The amount depends on the cancellation date:
Cancellation 10 or more days before the activity: 10% of the total price.
9 to 3 days before the activity: 20% of the total price.
Within 48 hours of the activity: 25% of the total price.
Failure to show up at the agreed meeting place and time will result in a loss of 100% of the activity price.
Additionally, the client must pay any cancellation fees for services booked through sendalpina (e.g., accommodation, transport, meals, visits). If these were not arranged by sendalpina, the client must handle cancellations and refunds directly.
If the client’s cancellation or modification results in increased costs for other participants, the difference will be deducted from any refund.
If the client transfers their booking to another person, this must be communicated at least 10 days in advance (or 15 for international trips). The substitute must meet the same requirements as the original participant. Additional charges from third-party providers may apply.
sendalpina – Mountain Guides will immediately inform the client of any significant modifications it must make to the contract before the activity begins, including price changes. In this case, the client may:
The client must inform sendalpina of their decision within 48 hours of notification. If no response is received, the new contract will be considered accepted. If the client cancels, they will be refunded any payments made.
By accepting the contract conditions, the client acknowledges that mountain activities are subject to unexpected changes due to weather, avalanches, floods, etc., or for logistical and safety reasons. Schedules, itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and activities may be modified or suspended at the guide’s discretion. These changes may occur before or during the activity.
If sendalpina is forced to cancel an activity before it begins for reasons not attributable to the client, the client will receive a full refund. No refund will be given if cancellation is due to force majeure or unavoidable and unpredictable circumstances beyond sendalpina’s control, despite acting diligently.
If sendalpina postpones the activity due to weather or other external issues, participants will be offered a new date or a 100% refund.
Third-party services outside the client-sendalpina contract are not sendalpina’s responsibility, and it is not obligated to compensate the client in case of cancellation.
If, after the activity has started, sendalpina cannot provide a significant portion of the contracted services, it will implement suitable alternatives to continue the activity at no extra cost and refund the difference between the agreed and actual services if the difference is significant. By continuing with the activity under these conditions, the client accepts the proposed solutions.
sendalpina – Mountain Guides and/or the guide reserve the right to refuse admission to any client who, at the start or during the activity, is deemed unfit psychologically, physically, or technically, according to the guide’s judgment. The same applies if the client lacks the mandatory equipment listed in the activity description. In such cases, the client forfeits the right to a refund.
Activity prices vary depending on the number of participants. The prices shown correspond to the minimum price applicable when 4 or more people attend (or the number indicated in the activity listing).

Not included:
If a client decides to withdraw during an activity, they must sign a document provided by the guide declaring their voluntary withdrawal. The guide will facilitate the client’s exit as long as it does not negatively impact other clients or the normal development of the activity. Withdrawal will depend on current safety, weather, and logistical conditions and may not be immediate.
Clients who withdraw for reasons other than health or accident must cover all costs arising from their decision, including transport, provisions, or accommodation expenses.
If the client needs extra equipment, sendalpina may provide it and will specify the rental cost in the activity sheet.
If the client misuses or damages the equipment through negligence, they must cover repair or replacement costs. If lost, they must pay the full value as if new. No charges will apply for normal wear and tear.
All our activities are led by certified mountain guides. They are responsible for the activity and will make the appropriate decisions to ensure its success. While the guide may consider clients’ opinions, the guide’s decision is final.
Clients agree to follow the guide’s instructions. Failure to do so releases sendalpina and its guides from any liability, and they reserve the right to expel the client or suspend the activity. The client forfeits all rights, including refunds.
The guide may evacuate a client for illness, accident, or any situation compromising safety. In this case, no refund will be issued.
The guide will always prioritize the client’s safety, comfort, and experience, ensuring that the program expectations are met.
